We have a great day planned on Saturday, June 22!  Not only can you visit your regular market vendors, we are adding vendors to the Main & Elm Parking Lot as well, with a variety of items to sell!  The market pavilion will still have home grown, and handmade items from vendors, but we will relax the rules for the parking lot to allow for direct sales companies, and other people looking to offer their gently used items for sale!

Main Street will be closed between Elm & Cedar Streets to allow more room for vendors, including our 3 food vendors:

• Bob & Pat's BBQ
• Blazin Bro's
• Daddy-O's Cheesesteak

Shoppers are invited to park at the Main & Cedar parking lot, or at the Front Street lots. 

All booths will open at 8:00 a.m. (no sales prior to 8!).  The show will continue until 4:00 p.m.

Do you know someone looking for service hours for school?  We have a great opportunity at the market!

Our Sprouts Kids Club operates every Saturday, 8 a.m. - Noon.  Volunteers are needed to work the check-in table to give tokens to participants and help new members sign up.  It's a simple, but very important job!  Each day is broken into 2, 2-hour shifts, and signing up is easy!  Just visit our sign-up page and register for the day(s) that fits into your schedule.

Do you need a way to show your love for the market?  Our market shirts are a great way to support the market and spread the word to others in the community!  We have lots of options, with tees and tanks for the summer, as well as jackets and sweatshirts when you need something a little warmer.  Our past Sprouts shirts are also available – they always have a fun design and people have asked how to get one, so we added them to the store (in child AND adult sizes)!  Click here for a preview of the items available.

Two weeks after the order deadline, orders will be available for pick-up at the Chamber of Commerce office (323 W Main Street) Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., or at the Sprouts table at the market, Saturdays, 8 a.m. – Noon.

We would like to invite our current and past Sprouts Club members to participate in our Opening Ceremony at 7:55 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019.  We have an "Open" flag that Mayor Sandy Lucy will post at the East Entrance (parking lot side) of the market, and would like the Sprouts Kids to walk the flag through the market from the Chamber, sort of Olympic-torch style, before handing it to Sandy to post.  

The Sprouts (and their families) have become such a big part of our market, that we wanted to include them in the kick-off for the 2019 Season.  If your child is able to participate, please e-mail Amanda.  We hope to see you there!

**Club Activities will begin on May 4, when a little more produce will be available at the market.  You can register online in advance if you would like.  Online registration closes May 1.

I did get a message that John will have spinach and lettuce on Saturday, so if you still have tokens from last year, you can start spending them!

The Washington Farmers’ Market will officially open its 2019 season on Saturday, April 6.  A wide variety of home baked goods, meats, crafts, and bedding plants will be available for sale.  The market will be open every Saturday through October 26.  Hours are 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Market customers are encouraged to stay up-to-date with Farmers’ Market news by following the market Facebook page at www.facebook.com/washmomarket.
 
The market offers something for everyone, with more than 40 vendors selling local plants and produce, meat, eggs, jams & jellies, and baked goods.  Crafters selling their handmade items have also found a home at the market, offering charming and unique items.  The beautifully renovated historic building with pavilion guarantees customers will be covered, rain or shine at 317 West Main Street in Downtown Washington, Missouri.  Applications for new vendors are available at HERE or can be requested from info@washmomarket.com or from the Chamber of Commerce Office (636-239-2715).
